Beyond
the desk
Service management pays the bills and fills the days. These are the things that fill everything else.
This site has two sides. The CV is my professional identity; this section is the personal one. Five passions, each with its own page, and for two of them a project I built from it.
Family
The fixed point everything else is planned around. Time zones, hubs and release calendars are my day job; the family calendar always wins.
ADS-B
Aircraft broadcast their identity and position over ADS-B, and anyone with the right receiver can listen in. Live data from the sky, and a hobby that happily mixes radio, telemetry and aviation.

Built from it: ZenithBoard, my home-made, open-source departure board for the aircraft flying over home, from an old tablet, a Raspberry Pi and a radio dongle.
Retro gaming
Classic consoles and the games that defined them: pixel art, strict rules, and designs that still hold up decades later. Batocera-based builds and a handheld or two keep the library at hand.
Built from it: Altiplume, a cosy 1930s airmail game in pixel art, shipped in under twenty-four hours with an AI coding agent writing the code while I set the rules, and documented in a technical report with a DOI.
River & pond fishing
Rivers and ponds, patience and a good read of the water. No dashboards, no queue, no notifications: just method feeders, lures, and respect for the fish and the water they live in.
New cultures
Living and working across France, Ireland, Luxembourg and Singapore, and leading teams in India, Malaysia and Colombia, made curiosity a habit. There is always another place, another way of working and another table to sit at.
